It is sometimes erroneously said that children ‘are the church of tomorrow’. This is not the case! Children are an important part of the present-day church and teaching them should not be haphazard.
This specialised course has been designed as effective training for people who are called and have the vocation to evangelise and disciple children.
The course provides guidance and tools for students so that they can communicate the Gospel / Biblical message to children in an informative, practical and pleasing way.
It helps students in deepening their relationship with the Lord and in discipling the children in their charge. The activities and projects in the course also give ideas on how to contact and involve the children's families.
It is a course particularly suited to those situations where specialised Sunday school resources are not available. It shows how to make materials from simple everyday things.
